Vanti on Innovation 50 2019

Vanti selected as one of the top Midlands innovators for 2019

A report ranking 50 of the Midlands’ most innovative businesses has been published today by Midlands law firm Mills & Reeve as part of its biennial “Innovation 50” – a true celebration of the region’s R&D royalty, industry ground-breakers and rising stars.

Vanti has been selected for the “Place and Environment” category of this impressive list. This year adds to our placement on the inaugural lineup of 2017, joining a host of exceptional businesses leading innovation within the region and nationwide.

We previously caught up with Innovation 50, discussing the impact that the award had on our growth from 2017 onward, with a case study analysis of our latest innovations ‘one year on’ from our inaugural placement. Our placement on the inaugural list kicked off a year of record growth for us, with headcount increasing by 60% within a 12 month period.

Birmingham is the place we call home, and we’re vocal champions of the wider region, so we’re delighted by the increasing numbers of businesses entering and placing on this list. The ever-growing roster of innovative businesses in the Midlands is an exciting the development for the region as a leading economy in the UK.

A select group of business leaders from across the East and West Midlands were part of the expert panel that selected the final 50 from this year’s record number of applications. The entrants were judged on both their originality and impact, with the 50 highest-scoring businesses securing their place in the report.

“We launched the Innovation 50 in 2017 to celebrate Midlands businesses at their most enterprising, confident and creative. Two years on, and the buzz around the region has only grown – with the quality of 2019 entries showing that we more than live up to our national reputation.”

Steve Allen, Head of the Birmingham office at Mills & Reeve
