Your data’s safe in our hands

Unless you’ve been living under a rock or swore off email several months ago, it’s likely that you’ll have received more than a couple of emails around data and privacy recently. Innovative AV solutions at The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire

September 2017 saw the launch of BCU’s new Birmingham Conservatoire, a state-of-the-art project that was several years in the making and took two years to construct. The world-class Conservatoire, which was granted a Royal status just two weeks after it opened, cost £57 million and features five public performance spaces, including the 500-seat concert hall, 150-seat recital hall, and a 100-seat organ studio. The building also boasts the UK’s first permanent conservatoire-based jazz space, which seats 80, and a flexible and versatile black-box studio called The Lab where students can experiment and innovate.

It’s this empathy that drives us to seek out opportunities to provide help where we can and support causes and initiatives we believe in. When we learned that the UK division of GAiN (the Global Aid Network) were looking for corporate partners to help them deliver their incredibly valuable service, we didn’t hesitate to get involved.

The implication of this advancement is that tech is now almost omnipresent – what were called Smartphones are now just regular phones, we’re all almost constantly connected to the internet, and we increasingly use systems and devices to make our lives run more smoothly.

As Master Systems Integrators, Vanti bring Smart to life by creating incredible buildings and spaces that make their users and occupants happier and more productive, and help the owners and occupiers achieve their business goals. However, it’s not always straightforward – as Smart technology is a field still very much in its infancy, there are a number of assumptions people make and limitations companies like us encounter.
