Monday night saw an excited contingent from Team Vanti take their seats at the InAVation Awards at Amsterdam’s Gashouder to find out if we were to return to Birmingham in a blaze of glory or empty handed. We knew we were up against some incredibly stiff competition in the Education Facility category, with a total of 10 finalists from around the world all hoping to take home the coveted award.

Though the standard of the finalists was extremely high, the judges decided that Vanti’s work on Birmingham City University’s Royal Birmingham Conservatoire was deserving of the win!

We’re so honoured to receive this award, especially given the huge talent we were up against; it was a genuinely impressive category that demonstrated just how much can be achieved through inventive use of technology. The whole of Team Vanti worked incredibly hard throughout the project and deserve to be recognised for their achievement.

Our BCU work also been chosen as the cover story for the current edition of InAVate Magazine, who lauded our innovative approach and willingness to take on “an installation so bespoke and complex that it was enough to put off many integrators”. Take a look at the full article here.

The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire was the most technically complex project we’ve completed so far, but we relished the opportunity to show what we can do. With many exciting new contracts in the pipeline, our focus is on continuing to push the limits of what technology is capable of in order to create exceptional, user-focused environments.
