Vanti’s attendance at ISE 2016 in February was full of highlights – our CEO Mike Brooman gave an informative and engaging talk on the future of Smart Building, we met a wide range of interesting companies in our industry and beyond, and we ended up coming home with not one, but two incredible awards for our innovative work on United Business Media’s new London HQ.

The first of these accolades was presented to Mike and Vanti CTO Raj Patel at the InAVation Awards. This prestigious event was held on the first evening of ISE, and Vanti were nominated for the award of Most InAVative Corporate Facility against some pretty steep competition; all five of the other companies shortlisted had impressive track records in delivering truly innovative AV solutions. A panel of industry experts oversaw an intensive application and technical validation process that tested many of the biggest players in the AV sector.

Everyone on the Vanti team was incredibly proud that we were shortlisted, and even more delighted when we were announced as the overall winner! As Mike put it, “We’re absolutely thrilled to be awarded our second InAVation award and to be recognised for our commitment to pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with the latest audio-visual and information technology.

“It’s great that the judges recognised our efforts in creating one of the first truly integrated Smart Buildings in EMEA and picked up on our efforts to not only conserve energy, but also to increase the productivity and wellbeing of the people who use the technology every day.”

Our second accolade came in the form of the AV News Award for AV Project of the Year. The AV News Awards aim to recognise the contribution of individuals and teams to the development of the AV industry, and both this and our InAVation award specifically related to the work we did on the new United Business Media building. Situated in the heart of London, UBM’s new London headquarters was designed with the end user in mind; creating an incredible user experience was our goal, resulting in seven stories of cutting-edge, fully-integrated Smart Building technology.
